Over the last ten years I've worked with small business owners and have learned that they usually know what their brand is and what spaces they need to be in, but they don't have the time or resources to do it themselves. Boost was born from that opportunity- to augment small business visibility during the times they need it most.
I've always been drawn to understanding human behavior. My education is in Psychology and Sociology- Law, Criminology, and Deviance with a B.A. from the University of Minnesota. This was a natural segue for me into the hospitality business. I spent 20 years of my professional life employed in the hotel industry serving in roles from operational to sales and marketing management.
I transitioned officially to digital marketing by obtaining my CDMP (Certified Digital Marketing Professional) certificate from St Thomas in 2018. Since then I've been an independent contractor, most notably working with a Minneapolis-based branding + website firm where I serve clients predominantly in the real estate, design-build, and specialty services sectors.
I enjoy working with small businesses that are anchored in the spirit of hospitality. I am a foodie and member of the local Mycological (mushrooms) Society. I am optimistic, passionate, and humorous and enjoy it when my clients are too. Think we might be a good fit for each other?
